To say that I got into racing late in life would be an understatement. Let’s just say that I am proud to be a card carrying member of AFM, WERA and AARP! I was introduced to racing in 2010 through Feel Like a Pro, racing Kawasaki 250s. During the last several years I have participated in AFM, WERA and CVMC sponsored events throughout the western states. In 2011 I was fortunate to earn WERA Western Regional Novice championships in D Superstock, E Superstock and Clubman classes. In 2012 I finished up the season with a Third Place standing in the WERA Western Region D Superstock Expert class. During 2012 I also participated in the AFM events and a CVMC event as well. I learned much during this time of travel and racing. One of the most important lessons I learned is that as in life, much of success is achieved by just showing up!

I was introduced to motorcycles during college in Northern California. For a short period I owned a canary yellow 1972 Norton Commando. The bike broke my heart on a regular basis as it was as temperamental as it was beautiful. My relationship with that bike ended in Santa Barbara in 1974 after a wonderful ride down Highway 1. Unfortunately my destination was Orange County. I purchased my next bike in 2009. Evidentially I had some unfinished business with motorcycles. So the adventure continues. I also enjoy dirt tracking and trail riding. My goals for the 2013 racing season are to continue to see where my racing will take me and enjoy the ride.
