Guruniyam started racing in 2002 and resides in Suisun City, California with her husband Dave.  She is a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Suisun City Fire Department.

Riding in the Golden State Mini Motorcycle Road Racing (GSMR) Club, she competes in the Novice Super Sport class and the Women's class where she finished 4th overall in her very first year of racing!

Her future goal is to get in on some of the racing action with the American Federation of Motorcyclist (AFM).  Currently she helps the AFM with corner working.
