Once
again I competed in all 4 classes that allow “open” bikes on a
fairly stock 2005 GSXR 1000 in this
year’s 8 round series. I have continued to
improve my personal best lap times as the year progressed,
which
has
netted me 11 podium appearances throughout this season with at
least one per weekend.

Made a
couple of visits to race with WSMC and first time out managed
to qualify for the Pro License with the
club. Came back in October for WSMC’s prestigious Toyota 200
endurance race and managed to qualify and
complete the race without any crew at all. Final placement
was a dismal 29th place after suffering a
mechanical malfunction that left me limping around the track
for the last 20 minutes of the race and dropped
me to my finishing position from 20th place.
